The spectacular view from the lanai looks across 70 acres of open ranch land to the shoreline. Here you can appreciate the sound of the crashing waves in the distance, breaching whales, grazing cattle, and breathtaking sunrises.

To the south you see the Kipahulu Point and faintly detect the shooting spray as the waves pound on the entrance to Haleakala National Park.
