In the words of one our recent guests: "Go to Waianapanapa early...(the day trippers arrive in vans at 10:30 - 11:00). Take your cooler to fill up with good stuff from "Hana Fresh" on your way back in to town. Check out Red Sand Beach...take boogie boards (in closet) to Hamoa - Fun! Park on roadside. Ohe'o Gulch (7 Pools)[,] fun[,] good massage in falls[.] Day trippers come in about 12:00. ... Check out the 2nd pool from the bottom the sea...-deep, ledge near falls, shade up the side for lunch. Sit on porch...Have fun! This place is great.
